DEAD CALM (1989)
Dead Calm (1989) Rae Ingram (Nicole Kidman) and her husband, John (Sam Neill), struggle to cope with the sudden death of their son. In an attempt to forget their loss, the couple takes their yacht for an extended vacation. While far out at sea, they discover a sunken schooner and rescue the ship's sole survivor, the Hughie Warriner (Billy Zane). Hughie claims the crew died of food poisoning. Although Rae is empathetic towards Hughie, John is suspicious of his story.
